The village of Areni in Armenia is home to the world’s oldest known winery, which had produced wine over 6000 years ago. Discovered in the Areni-1 cave, this ancient winery contains fermentation vats, a wine press, storage jars, and even remnants of grape seeds, proving that wine production has been an integral part of Armenian culture for thousands of years.
